Windows 2000

This program is usefull to write chinese chars in non-chinese versions of Win2000. The Program use the PinYin-Input to search the right chinese char.
You can write, read, open and save text-files as uni-code.
See follow instructions to use the program:
1. download the 'simsun.zip'
2. unzip the file 'simsun.ttc' and copy it in the '\windows\font' -directory or install the font in the control-panel
3. download the program file 'CE3W2000.zip'
4. unzip the file ChinEdit.exe and copy in a directory
5. start the ChinEdit.exe by use the program-manager

remarks:
The program is tested with Dell-Laptop (Windows 2000). For other decices, I can't give a warranty for a right function.

PocketPC

This program is usefull to write chinese chars in non-chinese versions of PocketPC. The Program use the PinYin-Input to search the right chinese char.
You can write, read, open and save text-files as uni-code.

system file-functions for load and save
font functions to change the fonts

See follow instructions to use the program:
1. download the 'simhei.zip'
2. unzip the file 'simhei.ttf' and copy it in the '\windows\font' PPC-directory
3. download the program file 'CEditPPC.zip'
4. unzip the file ChinEdit.exe and copy to the PocketPC
5. start the ChinEdit.exe by use the program-manager

remarks:
The program for Pocket-PC is tested with my HP5450(PocketPC 2002, WindowsCE 3.0). For other decices, I can't give a warranty for a right function.
